'Stencil Graffiti' Paris Exhibition As a promotion for the book the french distributors, Interart invited artists to create a show of international stencils at ARTAZART bookshop/gallery. Following a packed opening night, stencilists continued to add work over the weekend. Exhibitors include; From Paris: Miss Tic, Hao, Alain Design, Nice Art, Space Invader & Jérôme Mesnager with later additions to be made by Némo & Blek. Reviews have already appeared in Le Monde Book Review at Thames and Hudson Founder of 'Red or Dead', Wayne Hemingway, reviewed 'Stencil Graffiti' on 'The Big Breakfast', Channel 4, UK. 7th March 2002, making it his "book of the week". Tristan discussed work from the book at The Arnolfini, Bristol, UK on the 11th March, 7.30pm. The presentation included a selection of video shorts including 'Invisible Inc' by Pablo Fiasco/Concious Cinema and 'Banksy: Boom or Bust' Squall Productions for Altworld/Channel 4. |
